This is a chronicle of culinary adventures in Olympia, WA and beyond. Comments and suggestions welcome.
Going to a new restaurant is a gamble. Sometimes you hit the jackpot- the food is outstanding and the server makes you feel like family. Other times, it's a bust and you wish you had just made a bologna sandwich at home because that salmon you ordered was a bit off and the service was similar to being in prison.

Yay!
I moved here right about when you stopped posting and have been wishing you'd come back.
I've become a fan of Swing! but haven't found great Thai food yet. Help me, olyfoodie, you're my only hope!

Aw, thanks km :)
Oly has an abundance of Thai restaurants, but they're all pretty darn similar. Lemongrass is somewhat at the better end of the spectrum.
If you're ever in Benicia, CA however, there's an excellent Thai restaurant called Sala.
I just found your site and have bookmarked for future reference! Would love to contribute as we are big fans of Oly eats and also venture south into the Centralia/Chehalis area.
Ate at a japanese place on the corner of Plum & state last night and the chicken teriyaki was delish! Atmosphere cozy & clean, staff attentive and price was good!
